Ask better questions. Get better revenue insights.
RevSure Canvas works best when you talk to it like a knowledgeable member of your GTM team. You don’t need special prompt syntax—just be clear about what you want to understand and provide the business context that matters.
When your question involves trends, comparisons, or multi-metric breakdowns, Reli generates an interactive dashboard — not just a text response. You can explore the data, hover for details, and share it directly with your team. The richer your question, the more useful the dashboard.
THE SIMPLE FORMULA
GOAL + CONTEXT + SCOPE + OUTPUT
Instead of:
“Which campaigns are doing well?”
Try:
“Which campaigns generated the most pipeline last quarter? Show the top 10, include pipeline generated and ROI, and summarize the 3 biggest takeaways.”
BEST PRACTICES
1. Start with the business question
Tell Reli Chat what decision or question you're trying to answer.
“Generate an executive dashboard for my CMO showing pipeline, conversion, and channel performance this quarter.”
“Create a summary view I can share with leadership on where leads are dropping out of the funnel.”
“Which accounts should my team prioritize to hit this quarter’s revenue target?”
Avoid starting with vague requests like “analyze marketing.”
2. Add the scope that matters
Include the dimensions that could change the answer:
Time period · Funnel stage · Channel/Campaign · Segment/Region · Account/Lead · Metric
“Compare pipeline generated by channel this quarter vs. last quarter.”
3. Say what success means
Be explicit about the metric you care about.
Instead of “best campaigns”, try:
“Campaigns with the highest generated pipeline.”
“Channels with the highest ROI.”
“Campaigns producing the most MQLs.”
4. Ask for the output you want
RevSure Canvas can be much more useful when it knows how you'll consume the answer.
Try:
“Give me the top 5.”
“Show a comparison dashboard”
"Build a comparison table I can explore"
“Summarize this for my CMO.”
“Give me 3 insights and recommended actions.”
“Explain why this changed.”
5. Build on the answer
You don't need to start over. Treat RevSure Canvas like a conversation.
Ask → Inspect → Drill down → Act
“Which channels generated the most pipeline?”
→ “Why did Paid Search improve?”
→ “Which campaigns drove that?”
→ “What should we do next?”
6. Be explicit when precision matters
Terms such as pipeline, conversion, attribution, ROI, stage, and time period can have different definitions or views.
If the distinction matters, say exactly what you want:
“Use first-touch attribution.”
“Show pipeline value, not opportunity count.”
“Only include Enterprise accounts.”
“Compare fiscal Q2 with fiscal Q1.”
7. Refresh to stay current
Once Reli has built a dashboard for you, you don't need to rebuild it from scratch every time the data updates. Use the Refresh button to pull in the latest data while keeping the same analysis structure.
This is ideal for recurring views you return to regularly:
Weekly pipeline health check
Monthly channel performance review
Quarterly funnel drop-off analysis
Build it once. Refresh it whenever you need a current snapshot.
COPY → PASTE → CUSTOMIZE
Performance
“Show me the top [5/10] [campaigns/channels] by [pipeline/ROI/bookings] for [time period]. Compare against [previous period] and explain the biggest changes.”
Funnel
“Where are we seeing the biggest drop-offs between [stage A] and [stage B] for [segment/time period]? Highlight the likely drivers.”
Executive insight
“Summarize [topic] for a [CMO/CRO/leadership] audience. Give me the 3 most important insights, business impact, and recommended next actions.”
REMEMBER
Be specific, not complicated.
Give RevSure Canvas the question, the business context, the scope, and the output you need—then use follow-up questions to go deeper.
Bad: “Analyze marketing”
Reason: Reli needs to know which metric, time period, and scope you care about, and without those, the answer can only be as ambiguous as the question.
Good: “Show pipeline by channel.”
Better: “Show pipeline by channel for Q2.”
Best: “Rank channels by generated pipeline for Q2 vs. Q1, explain the biggest changes, and recommend where marketing should investigate or act.”
