How does data enrichment happen at Revsure?

Clean, enriched data is the foundation for accurate reporting, effective targeting, and meaningful attribution. But CRMs often suffer from gaps—anonymous visitors, unassigned leads, or incomplete records. RevSure’s enrichment engine bridges these gaps by integrating with best-in-class data providers and applying logic to resolve and populate missing information.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown of the enrichment strategies we apply, depending on the data gaps you may encounter:

Scenario 1: No Leads Associated with a Visitor

Problem: A visitor lands on your website, but there’s no corresponding lead in the CRM.

What we do:

  • We apply visitor de-anonymization techniques using 3rd-party data providers like RB2B, 5x5Coop, or Clearbit.

  • These providers use attributes like:

    • IP address

    • Browser fingerprint

    • Page URL

    • UTM parameters

  • They correlate this data to match it against known CRM leads using fields like email, company name, job title, or persona segments.

  • If a match is found, the visitor is associated with the corresponding lead in RevSure.

  • If no match is found, RevSure automatically creates a new lead record for the visitor to ensure funnel tracking continues.

Scenario 2: No Account Associated with a Visitor

Problem: The visitor’s company or account-level information is missing.

What we do:

  • We use IP-to-company resolution via tools like 6Sense, PDL, and 5x5Coop.

  • Once the company domain is resolved, we:

    • Check if it exists in your CRM.

    • If yes, we map the visitor to the existing account.

    • If not, we create a new account record in RevSure with enriched firmographics.

  • We enrich the account using company-level signals such as:

    • Employee count

    • Industry

    • Revenue range

    • Funding rounds

    • HQ location

This ensures anonymous website traffic is not only linked to people, but also rolled up to account-level attribution.

Scenario 3: No Account Associated with Leads or Contacts

Problem: A lead exists, but they aren’t linked to any account record.

What we do:

  • We run contact enrichment using partners like MixRank, PDL, or ZoomInfo.

  • Based on the email domain or company name in the lead record, we:

    • Identify the matching account

    • Link the lead to that account

    • Fill in any missing account-level data (e.g. industry, firm size)

This step helps your CRM maintain proper lead-to-account mapping for ABM workflows and hierarchical reporting.

Scenario 4: Missing Work Email, Phone Number, or LinkedIn on Leads

Problem: You have a record with just a name or a generic email—no way to contact them.

What we do:

  • We query enrichment APIs from MixRank, PDL, Limadata, and others.

  • Using partial data (like name + company or personal email), we attempt to:

    • Fetch work email

    • Identify direct phone numbers

    • Retrieve LinkedIn profiles

  • The enriched contact info is stored within RevSure and synced back to your CRM, if configured.

By enriching these fields, RevSure enables your SDRs and sales teams to initiate personalized outreach without manual research.

Scenario 5: Missing Data on Accounts

Problem: Account records exist but lack detail like industry, tech stack, or funding info.

What we do:

  • We send account domains to enrichment services (e.g. PDL, Clearbit, 5x5Coop) and retrieve:

    • Firmographics: Company size, industry, revenue, location

    • Technographics: Installed tools or platforms (e.g., CRM, MAP, analytics)

    • Funding data: Recent investment rounds, valuations, investor names

  • This metadata is appended to the account in RevSure for better segmentation and targeting.

This is particularly useful for refining ICP scoring, territory planning, or customizing ABM campaigns.

Why This Matters

RevSure’s enrichment process isn’t just about filling in blanks—it’s about making your CRM a living, breathing asset. Enriched leads mean smarter prioritization. Mapped accounts mean better attribution. Contact data means faster follow-up. Altogether, you get more accurate funnel visibility and revenue predictions.
